Fantasy Cricket League Prediction | Tips and Tricks for today’s match between NZ vs IND 2nd ODI Dream11 Prediction
Wicket-Keepers
- KL Rahul is in excellent form. He scored 225 in the T20I series and 88 * in the first ODI. He also performed brilliantly in ODIs and scored 102, 77, 47, 80 and 19 runs in 5 ODIs before the start of the series.
- Given that KL Rahul will be picked by all, New Zealand's Tom Latham will be a great option in the second team. Latham played 14 innings against India, scoring 662 runs, including 69 from 79 balls in the first ODI.
Batsmen
- Ross Taylor proved why he is the best batsmen at the number 4 position in the first ODI, scoring an unbeaten knock of 109 in just 64 balls. Taylor has amassed 1,300 runs for New Zealand against India in 17 matches at an average of 46.42, the most by any Kiwi player. Furthermore, he has scored 416 runs at Eden Park.
- With Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul playing at number 5, Virat Kohli is the most experienced batsman in the Indian top order. He scored 51 runs in the first ODI before tying Ish Sodhi to Googly. With 1,354 runs in 24 matches at an average of 24.4 against NZ, Kohli will be instrumental in turning the series around for India.
- Henry Nicholls returned in ODIs scoring 78 runs in 82 balls. The top-order batsmen are in good touch to go into the match. In the last three matches he (List A), Nicholas has scored 120, 62 and 55 runs.
- Martin Guptill is a good option to replace with Nicholas. Guptill has scored 780 runs against the Men in Blue in ODIs. Despite not being in his best form, Guptill is a good option, noting that he is the highest run-scorer at Eden Park with 739 runs from 15 matches.
- Prithvi Shaw opened his first game for India in Wellington. Mumbaikar showed promise to score 20 off 21 balls and wants to build on that performance. Shaw is performing in New Zealand with India A, scoring 150, 48, 2 and 55 in four unofficial ODIs.
- After a lot of permutations and combinations, Shreyas Iyer has finally taken the number 4 position. In his first ODI against New Zealand, Iyer, in his first ODI, hit an improper 12 fours.
All-rounders
With 10 wickets in 13 matches against India, Mitchell Sentner is the only spin option left for NZ, who are not playing Sodhi. Santor has a good idea of what the pitch will be like on Saturday. He has 4 wickets in 6 matches at Eden Park
Colin de Grandhomme returned with an impressive performance with the ball in the first ODI. He finished his bowling spell with 1/41 in an economy of 5.13.
Ravindra Jadeja returned to the playing eleven after being rested for the final two T20Is. Jadeja was not at his best in the first ODI, but was economical compared to other Indian bowlers of 0/64. However, he took 3 wickets in 2 matches at Eden Park during the T20 series.
Kedar Jadhav performed brilliantly with an explosive strike rate of 173.33 in his innings of 26 off 15 balls. Given the slow nature of the pitch, he could also work with the ball.
Bowlers
Despite being tossed for 85 runs in the first ODI, Tim Southee took two wickets. Southee has a solid record against India in ODIs. In 19 ODIs he has played in blue against men, with Pacer taking 28 wickets. Apart from this, Southee has taken 7 wickets in 10 matches in Auckland.
Harry Bennett is also a great choice if you are hell-bent on not choosing Southey. Although he scored too many runs, Bennett took 6 wickets in the series.
From India, we have Jaspreet Bumrahand Mohammed Shami as our Dream 11 options. Bumrah impressed with a 3/12 figure in the fifth T20I. He was the most economical of the Indian bowling attack, finishing with 0/53. In ODI vs NZ, Bumrah has taken 13 wickets in 9 matches.
Shami ended the year 2019 as the world's highest wicket-taker in ODI cricket. He also has an excellent record of taking 21 wickets in 10 ODIs against NZ.
Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets despite the ball being expensive.
Shardul Thakur took 8 wickets in T20 series; However, he was expensive at the end of 1/80 in the first ODI. You can go with Navdeep Saini instead. Saini has taken 2 wickets in 2 T2OIs; In his ODI career, he has taken 5 wickets in 3 matches.
Captain And Vice-Captain Choices
KL Rahul will be the most obvious choice of the user given his superb form for the role of captain. He is a safe captain option.
Virat Kohli did not meet his standards in the recently concluded T20I series. And with Rohit Sharma injured, India's inexperienced batting will have to go shoulder to shoulder.
Ross Taylor is in excellent form for the Black Caps. With 1,300 runs against India and over 400 runs on Saturday's surface, another reliable innings is expected.
Well, this may sound crazy (and he really is a risky option), but we are backing Prithvi Shaw to shine on Saturday. He has been in some good form in home matches. Not being able to make a big impact in the first match, Shaw would be eager to count this opportunity.
